TIE DYE：Reclaimed Cashmere Project

このシリーズは、デッドストックのカシミヤ糸から始まります。

もともと様々な色に染められていた糸を一度すべて脱色し、素材をできるだけニュートラルな状態に戻します。

その後、糸にはやや強めの撚りを加えています。

カシミヤ本来の柔らかさを残しながら、少しだけドライで輪郭のある質感をつくるためです。

ニットとして編み上げたあと、一部の製品にはタイダイ染めを施しています。

この染色工程は一点ずつ手作業で行われるため、同じ柄はほとんど再現できません。

工業的な均一性ではなく、素材と工程が生む自然な揺らぎをそのまま残しています。

限られたデッドストック糸を使用しているため、このシリーズは生産できる数量にも限りがあります。

糸づくりから仕上げまでの工程が、それぞれの製品に静かに刻まれています。

This series begins with deadstock cashmere yarn.

Originally produced in various colors, the yarn is first completely stripped of dye to return the material to a neutral base.

A slightly stronger twist is then applied.

This preserves the natural softness of cashmere while introducing a subtly drier and more structured texture.

After the garments are knitted, selected pieces undergo a tie-dye process.

This dyeing stage is carried out by hand, meaning no two patterns can be exactly reproduced.

Rather than pursuing industrial uniformity, the project embraces the natural variations created by material and process.

Because the yarn originates from limited deadstock sources, the total production is naturally restricted.

Each piece quietly reflects the stages of yarn making and finishing behind it.
